Site, Manual, Chapter, Article
When writing an article in Screensteps, it needs to be placed in the correct place to make navitgating easy.
Dashboard
The Site is what the entire manual is placed in. We currently have this "Internal Support" manual, and a public "Zendesk" site. When starting in Screensteps, choose to "Jump to Site" where you're wanting to add or edit.
Manuals
Within the Site, everything is separated into Manuals. The public support site is by software module, and the internal site is by both team and program. Both have an FAQ for common processes.
Under Site Contents you can access each Manual. The icon of an arrow to the right will let you add a new Manual to the site.
Chapters
Within each Manual you have Chapters for different programs or modules.
Clicking on a Chapter will display all of the Articles it currently covers.
Articles
Most of what we do will be in an Article, which is what this is. Articles contain step by step instructions for anything you may need to know!
