Adding Assets to the Design Library
Stock Rooms
Steps:
1. Import into Fundy Designer, using the Managing Rooms Help Center article as a guide.
2. Measure with a standard size. For example, if there is a twin bed, the measurement should be the size of a twin bed.
3. Right-click on the room thumbnail and select 'Export as a design set'.
4. Log into CCtest and go to Design Library.
5. Select Rooms from the drop down menu, then click 'Upload New Library Item' to upload the exported design set .fds and jpg preview files to the test server.
6. Add the appropriate tags, as this will ensure the stock room is sorted into the correct category in the design library. Once you've done that, toggle Pro Enhancement to 'True' to make it available in the software.
7. Open Fundy Designer-Test, update your print size library, then check the Design Library for the new rooms. After confirming the rooms are showing up correctly, you can notify your supervisor (or Andrew/Dev) that they're ready to be pushed to production.
Design Sets - Magazine/Album/Wall Art/Card
1. Create design set in Fundy Designer using PNGs and layouts provided by our graphic designer.
2. Click the export icon and select "Export as Design Set".
3. Log into CCtest and go to Design Library.
4. Select design set type (note: magazines go in under Album Set) from the drop down menu.
5. Click 'Upload New Library Item' to upload the exported design set .fds and jpg preview files, then add the appropriate tags. Once you've done that, toggle Pro Enhancement to 'True' to make it available in the software.
6. Open Fundy Designer-Test, update your print size library, then check the Design Library for the new rooms. After confirming the design set is showing up correctly, you can notify your supervisor (or Andrew/Dev) that they're ready to be pushed to production.
