Sending Fundy users coupon codes to share when speaking at Tradeshows:

  • Review the speaker list and identify who is a Fundy user
    • The best way to do this is to copy and paste the name into command center and search to see if they have a license
      • You might need to adjust the name a little (i.e. search for last name only, first name only, or by studio name - users sometimes sign up using their studio name or their last name has changed)
  • Make a list of who has a Fundy license & what license they have
    • If they have a license, but do not have v10 - offer a free upgrade in exchange for sharing our code
      • “As for Fundy v10, as a thank you for speaking about us and sharing our slide at WPPI, we have upgraded your Fundy account to v10 with pro-enhancements for free.”
    • If they have v10 with PE turned off - offer a free year of PE in exchange for sharing our code
      • Mention that if they’d like to keep the PE after the year is over to reach back out - we will then determine whether they are speaking again and turn them back on for free
        • “If you would like to keep promoting the Fundy Suite after the year of Pro Enhancements expires, reach back out to us and we can extend them for free when the time comes.”
    • While you are looking up their license in the command center, this is a great time to copy down their email address in your doc so you do not have to go back and look them up again
  • Sending the emails:
    • You will have to individually send each email one by one
      • Do not send a mass email or bcc each email as the email usually gets ignored or flagged as spam**
    • Natalie will write up an email template & provide you with the graphic (See below)
    • Copy, paste, and attach the graphic for each email as you go down the list
    • Be sure to CC Natalie on all emails, as the users may come back with questions or start discussing about them speaking at other conferences

General Notes

  • Always send emails to ambassadors at the beginning of the week M-W. If you share on a Thurs/Fri it usually gets buried in their emails from the weekend
  • Some might only be doing a photo walk and if they are, we can advise that they just mention the code on their walk or within their Facebook group afterwards
  • Only use the term “Fundy Ambassador or Storyteller” if they are an ambassador, you can double check this by checking our ambassadors document or our Raves page on our website, if you are still unsure just leave that out and say Fundy User
  • If they are not an ambassador and use the software, use the phrase “Fundy User”
  • The best method to send out the emails efficiently is to create your own excel doc with name, email, suite type, etc. and highlight in yellow those who you have emailed as you go down the list to not lose your place
  • Affiliate program questions: Thank you for reaching out, we do not participate in affiliate marketing. However, we can provide a discount code for you to share to your attendees and groups. Let me know if that is something you would be interested in.

Subject: [TRADESHOW] Fundy Slides

Hey [NAME],

Hope you are doing well! We noticed you were speaking at [tradeshow] this year and as a Fundy Ambassador (or User - you can distinguish this through chargify), we have an awesome Fundy Designer discount of two months free for your class attendees. We would love it if you could incorporate the slide below in your presentation!

[If they don’t have v10] We traditionally like to offer an upgrade in exchange for sharing our discount slide in your presentation, if you’re interested in an upgrade let us know.

Feel free to replace the imagery with your own on the graphic. If you have any questions or need anything else, let me know. Hope you have a great time at SWPP, we wish we could be there!
