v3 - v5: These were plugins for Adobe Photoshop. They were officially sunsetted in 2016, as they were no longer being supported by Fundy or Adobe. Some users have kept the plugin by not updating their OS, PS, or Fundy license; however, once they break, we are not able to fix them. 

If the user wants to upgrade to the latest version of the software we do offer them the “From v6” upgrade pricing by temporarily adding a v6 Gallery Designer license to their account in CC Pro (create new account if they don’t already have existing one). Always verify the customer qualifies for discounted upgrade pricing. They must have owned a v3-v5 anchor module. You can check this by going to the e-junkie data doc on the shared drive.

v6: This was the first standalone desktop application. Licenses were sold for individual modules, as well as in groups (i.e. v6 Album Suite, Blog Collage, and Image Brander came in a pack). The last version released was 1.10.5. It hasn’t been updated since 2016, which means it’s not compatible with Mac’s latest OS, Mojave or Catalina. Most Windows users have been able to continue using it. Our official stance is that we no longer support this software. Any issues that can’t be fixed by resetting the app db, cannot be fixed and they will need to upgrade to the latest design suite.

v7: Similar to v6, these licenses were sold individually and in groups. Originally ran on Fundy Designer 7, which became obsolete with the release of v8 design suites and the Fundy Designer Suite (v8 software). Since the two different programs couldn’t co-exist on the users computer, v7 licenses were made forwards compatible so they could run on the v8 software. NOTE: This has caused a lot of v7 owners to be confused about what licenses they owned, especially as the v8 desktop application used to be referred to as “the v7 software”.

v8: Sold from 2017 - 2019. There were 3 different suite options available: 

• Lite Suite: The lowest tier suite. It is limited to albums up to 10x10” (cannot exceed 10” on either side) and 30 pages, and canvas-only wall art up to 24x36”. 
• Album Suite: Includes all design modules (Album, Magazine, Card, Blog Collage, and Image Brander), EXCEPT for the Gallery Designer (wall art) module.
• Pro Suite: Includes access to all design modules.

With the launch of the v8 software, we introduced Pro Enhancements - an optional add-on subscription service that includes the following features: 

• Design Proofer
• Exporting with Perfectly Clear retouching
• Export to web PDF
• Access to exclusive album, magazine, wall art, and card design sets, as well as music and stock rooms in our Design Library.

Any user who purchased a v8 design suite, whether as an upgrade or a first-time purchase, were given a free 3 month trial of Pro Enhancements, after which the subscription cost $179 per year.

v10: Most recent version release for Fundy software. It is very similar to the v8 software, in that it includes the same design modules and Pro Enhancements features. • Custom Slideshows
• Theater Mode
• Ability to apply designs to left or right side of spread.

Any user who purchased a v10 design suite for the first-time or upgraded from v6/v7, were given a free 3 month trial of Pro Enhancements, after which the subscription cost $179 per year. Users upgrading from v8 to v10 were not given a free 3 month trial, as only one free trial period is allowed per user/account.
